Lost Paddle Improv
Improv in South Eastern West Virginia
CCT is starting a sister improv company in Beckely West Virginia called Lost Paddle Improv. The name comes from one of the famed rapids on the Gauley River and is a great metaphore for improv. It is very similar to rafting without a paddle, you've gotta go with the flow of the current, surrender and deal with the consequences. Only on stage they are funny.
Lost Paddle will start just as CCT did over a decade ago, with auditions of experienced improvisers/comedians/actors which will be held at Mc Bees Irish Pub, our home location, 313 Neville St, Beckley WV, 3rd floor, at 6:30 pm on Tues Jan 17th. Auditioners should bring a photo and resume and prepare to move, and have fun.
IMPROV CLASSES: Our first classes will begin Tuesday, Feb 6th from 6:00 - 8:30 pm every Tues for 6 weeks, for a cost of $120 per 6 wk session. To register for classes or audition contact Keli at Improvkeli@yahoo.com.
SHOWS: Once we audition and run classes we will put together a local improv troupe to perform at McBees and the surrounding area, in short form improv shows. Our show schedule will be announced once we are ready to roll with a freshly trained ensemble of local WV talent!
